Art Medici, Chairman

Arthur Medici is Managing Partner of 9th Degree Advisors and leads the Executive Development Strategies practice area. Previously he was the founding investor in Internet Commerce Corporation (ICC) while CEO of Infosafe Systems. He has served ICC as CEO, COO and was a member of the Board of Directors in its current form as EasyLink Services International until January 2008. He completed an assignment as acting CEO for a Herndon, Virginia government contractor in June 2009.

Art was also President, CEO and Director of Logilent Learning Systems, a venture-backed California company with unique hands-on training labs for Microsoft and Cisco engineers on a certification track.
Marcia Keeth

Marcia Keeth has joined Charles County’s economic development staff as the Business Development Manager for Retention and Expansion. Ms. Keeth is familiar to many in the Charles County business community; she was part of the former Economic Development Department from 2005 to 2010 as well as the Economic Development Commission from 2002 to 2005. During the last year
and a half, Ms. Keeth has been the special events coordinator for the Town
of La Plata.

In her new role with the Office of Economic Development, Ms. Keeth will focus
on working with the companies already located in Charles County to help them thrive, grow, and remain part of the local business landscape for years to come.  She will meet with business owners to identify needs; research and serve as a conduit to resources for small business development at the local, regional, and federal levels; create and manage programs that serve local, small businesses; and serve as an advocate for small business in policy, regulatory issues, and in
the marketplace.
